Orivo Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Orivo is a day-planning app for iPhone. This page describes, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use it.

Who we are

Orivo is made and published by Igon Neski Dela Cruz, an independent developer ("we" or "us" on this page), who is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at igonneski@gmail.com.

Your tasks stay on your iPhone

Everything you add to Orivo (tasks, events, notes, subtasks, and your settings) is stored on your iPhone. Orivo's widgets read the same data on your iPhone. Orivo has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of its own. We cannot see your tasks, your notes, or anything else you type into the app, and none of it is sent to us or to anyone else.

Orivo does not sync your tasks to iCloud or to other devices. Like any app's data, it can be included in your iPhone's own backups (such as iCloud Backup) if you use them.

What we collect

We don't collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or advertising identifier. The only information that leaves your iPhone is the anonymous usage statistics and crash reports described below, and anything you choose to send us by email.

Anonymous usage statistics

Orivo uses TelemetryDeck to count how the app is used, in aggregate. Orivo sends a short signal when one of these happens: the app is opened, onboarding is finished, a task is created, a task is completed, the task sheet is opened, you switch between the Inbox, Timeline and Calendar, or a notification is tapped.

Each signal carries technical details about the app and your device (such as the app version, iOS version, device model, language and region) and an identifier for your installation that is scrambled on your iPhone before it is sent, so signals can be counted without knowing who you are. Signals never include the content of your tasks, events or notes. TelemetryDeck doesn't use cookies or advertising identifiers.

TelemetryDeck GmbH is based in Germany and stores this data on servers in the Netherlands and Germany. It doesn't store IP addresses.

Crash reports

Orivo uses Sentry to receive a report when the app crashes, so we can fix the cause. A crash report contains which part of the code failed, technical details about your device and the app (such as device model, iOS version, app version, and memory and storage state), and a short trail of the app's recent technical events, such as which screen was open.

Crash reports don't include your tasks or notes. Orivo turns off Sentry's option to attach personal information, such as your IP address or device name, and Orivo never records your screen.

Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) is based in the United States, and Orivo's crash reports are stored on its servers in the United States.

Permissions Orivo may ask for

Each permission is asked for only when you use the feature that needs it, and you can change your answer at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Schedule Scan can also read a photo or a PDF that you pick. Orivo only receives the one item you choose, not the rest of your library or files. Orivo doesn't ask for microphone, contacts, or location access.

On-device processing

Schedule Scan reads text from your photo or PDF on your iPhone. When you type a task, Orivo works out its date and time on your iPhone. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, both features may use Apple's on-device model. Photos, PDFs and the text you type are never uploaded.

Sharing your schedule

Share Schedule creates an image of your schedule on your iPhone. It only goes where you choose to send it, through the iOS share sheet or by saving it to Photos.

Buying Orivo

Orivo is a paid app with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. You buy it once from the App Store, and Apple handles the payment. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account.

Emailing us

If you tap Report a Bug in Orivo's Settings, your mail app opens a new email to us with the app version, iOS version and device model already filled in. You can see and edit all of it before you send it, and nothing is sent unless you send it. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as screenshots. We use it only to reply to you and fix the problem, and we don't share it. Ask us and we'll delete your emails.

Deleting your data

You can delete all of your tasks and events at any time in Orivo's Settings under Your Data. Deleting the app also deletes everything Orivo stored on your iPhone. Usage statistics and crash reports aren't linked to you, so we can't look them up by person.

Why we use this information

We use crash reports and anonymous usage statistics because we have a legitimate interest in keeping Orivo working and making it better, and they are set up so they don't identify you. We use your emails only to answer you. Sentry and TelemetryDeck keep their data for a limited time under their own retention rules.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it's used. To do any of these, email us and we'll reply within 30 days. In practice, the only information we can link to you is the emails you've sent us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, or in the Philippines to the National Privacy Commission.

No tracking, no ads

Orivo doesn't show ads, doesn't track you across other apps or websites, and doesn't sell or share your information.

Children's privacy

Orivo is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If Orivo starts handling your information differently, we'll update this page before that version of the app is released, and change the date at the top.
